Yo. Let's have a heart to heart for a minute. There is a lot going on in the world to be bummed out about right now - the ongoing war in Iraq, the housing crisis, gas prices, melting polar ice-caps, Twin-Cities traffic, bad TV, and stale office doughnuts. But, there are always things we can do to help.
Margaret Mead once said, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world.” In spite news of doom, things are going well for us at Sevnthsin & Clark Patrick Photography. So, we decided to do something to give back to the Twin Cities to help promote and support a local community that we admire – the local bicycle commuter community.
Minnesota has one of the largest year-round bicycle commuter communities in the country – impressive considering our harsh winters. In order to celebrate and promote biking as a healthy, economic, and traffic reducing lifestyle – we decided to organize a group photo taking place on October 4, 2008 at 3:00pm, rain, shine, or snow, for everyone and anyone who pedals their way around in this crazy world.
Biking is an individual and often solitary activity. So as a group of thoughtful, committed individual bikers let's band together to Unite… Bike... and take a group photo to show Minnesota and the rest of the world what it means to make things better 2 wheels at a time.
Sign up for general Unite Bike news, and learn about the Unite Bike 2009 group photo when a date, time and location have been decided, under the RSVP tab below.
